Pet Description
charming 1-year-old miniature mare who has already made an excellent start in her education and basic foal training. She was born and raised with us and has been handled with care from an early age.
Polly is kept in an open stable environment and is accustomed to safe, appropriate fencing. She is a confident young mare who has been introduced to many everyday experiences and enjoys learning new things.
Pedigree & Bloodline
Polly’s sire is Mr. Ronaldo, a licensed stallion from the Tegha lineage. He is a beautiful black winter-rapp stallion measuring approximately 92 cm.
Her dam is Pixie, a stunning pinto mare who unfortunately did not have a documented pedigree or passport. Pixie produced several beautiful foals before sadly passing away last year when Polly was approximately four months old.
Training & Handling
Polly has already developed a wonderful foundation and is accustomed to:
- Trailer loading
- Regular farrier visits
- Walking and exploring with her handlers
- Basic foal training
- Clicker training
- Wippe exercises
- Everyday handling and stable routines
She is curious, willing to learn and enjoys positive-reinforcement training, particularly clicker work.
Registration & Foal Inspection
Polly holds a passport issued through the breeding association and received a score of 2 at her foal inspection.
Finding the Right Home
We are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced and horse-friendly home where Polly can continue her development with appropriate young-horse handling, training, nutrition, socialization and care.
Polly is still young and deserves an owner who understands the importance of allowing a growing horse to develop at the right pace while building a strong foundation for her future.
